Depending on the day, my name is Christopher, or Chris. I am currently based in Brooklyn, originally from quaint Virginia Beach. While at VCU, I majored in Communication Arts (Narrative Illustration and Entertainment Design). My passion lies in narrative work in the form of mixed media 2D animated films and comics. These stories range from sci-fi and fantasy to horror and comedy, primarily featuring marginalized people in lead roles. As a traveller, I love to gather inspiration from a variety of lived societies, landscapes, architecture, and clothing to develop fictional worlds.
Ultimately, I live my daily life uplifting the underprivileged, pushing for more representation of black people, women, and other minorities in the media. I work to showcase these communities within my art hoping to cultivate a more inclusive society.
