Depending on the day, my name is Christopher, or Chris. I am currently based in Brooklyn NY, originally from quaint Virginia Beach. While in RVA, I majored in Communication Arts (Narrative Illustration and Entertainment Design) at VCUarts. My passion lies in narrative work in the form of hybrid 2D/3D style animated films and, print and web comics. These stories range from sci-fi and fantasy to horror and comedy, primarily featuring people of color in lead roles. As a traveller, I love to gather inspiration from the places I visit, new and old, referencing “real-world” societies, landscapes, architecture, and clothing to develop fictional worlds.
Ultimately, I live my daily life uplifting the underprivileged, pushing for more representation of black people, women, and other minorities in the media. I work to showcase these communities within my art hoping to cultivate a more inclusive society.
